This week is Internet Week in the UK and VoIP provider Skype thought what better way to convert more Brits to its calling service than to provide them with free WiFi over their Skype Access hotspot service.

Throughout the week, users will be able to find Skype Access hotspots and connect through the service for free. The promotion takes advantage of Skype's hotspot network which usually costs money where users can pay for internet access through their SkypeOut credits. As Skype continues to promote its services everywhere, the move looks like it might help raise its profile and convert a few more callers to its ranks.
